Zurich, Switzerland

Lead the Diabetes portfolio in Switzerland by setting multi‑year brand direction, driving launch and lifecycle excellence, and ensuring omnichannel commercial impact grounded in insight and strong performance metrics.

Your new role

As Therapy Area Lead Diabetes you will own end‑to‑end portfolio strategy and execution for our diabetes brands. You will lead cross‑functional alignment, steward the marketing budget, and represent the affiliate in regional and global forums.

Day‑to‑day your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop annual and multi‑year portfolio and brand strategies grounded in market, customer and brand insights.
  • Lead launches and lifecycle management (new indications, formulations, pen changes and product introductions), ensuring timely execution and excellence in launch readiness.
  • Translate clinical data and guidelines into clear, customer‑centric value propositions and core claims; secure effective MLR approvals.
  • Own the omnichannel strategy: co‑create customer journeys, optimise channel and content mix, and ensure the right message reaches the right customer at the right time.
  • Manage the marketing budget and performance optimisation: set KPIs (market share, NBRx/TRx, engagement, ROI), monitor results and reallocate resources based on performance.
  • Build partnerships with Sales, Medical, Market Access, Regulatory and external agencies to enable strong field force execution, sales enablement and KOL engagement.

Your new department

You will join the affiliate Marketing team and work closely with Medical, C&CE, Sales, Finance, MAPA and Regulatory colleagues as well as regional and global partners. The role requires strong collaboration across internal and external stakeholders to drive commercial success while maintaining compliance.

Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who brings:

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Native‑level German and fluent English; French and/or Italian an advantage.
  • Minimum 8 years’ pharmaceutical marketing experience at affiliate level, ideally in diabetes/cardiometabolic with strong knowledge of the Swiss market.
  • Proven track record leading portfolio and brand strategy, launches and lifecycle management, and delivering measurable sales and share growth.
  • Advanced capability in insights and analytics (market research, field intelligence, forecasting, KPI management) with experience optimising plans from data.
  • Hands‑on experience with MLR processes, sales enablement tools, KOL engagement and localisation of regional/global best practices.
  • Strong financial acumen and budget ownership, with ROI‑driven decision making.
