Seasonal Tour Guide at Hain Celestial in Boulder invites you to welcome visitors, lead tours of the facility, and communicate the brand and manufacturing processes while upholding food safety, GMP, and quality standards in a fast paced environment. You will conduct tours, assist product samplings, restock, manage the ticket counter and reservations, and report safety issues. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 1–3 years of customer service, strong presentation skills, reliability, and availability on weekends and holidays, plus the ability to lift and stand for extended periods. Seasonal Tour Guide:

To present a welcoming atmosphere to the public and conduct guided tours of the facility. Tasks are to be completed while maintaining the highest safety, food safety and quality, cost and GMP standards in a high-speed manufacturing environment.         

Essential Job Functions – Duties and Responsibilities:

• Organize and conduct tours explaining the brand and manufacturing process.
• Prepare teas and assist customers with product samplings.
• Restock tea and tea bar supplies. Communicate stock needs to manager.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow all food preparation safety guidelines.
• Operate cash register accurately.
• Operate ticket counter, answer phone to schedule group tour reservations.
• Availability to work flexible schedule.
• Communicate with management concerning staff and customer needs.
• Additional duties and various projects as needed.
• Responsible for reporting food safety and quality issues and initiate action, as necessary.
• Follow all Food Safety guidelines, but not limited to:
• GMP’s
• Allergen Program
• Quality
• Sanitation
• Safety

Qualifications:

• High school degree or equivalent.
• One to three years customer service experience.
• Presentation skills – must be able to make presentations to large groups.
• Ability to work in a growing, fast-paced tour environment with a positive attitude.
• Must be reliable and flexible, and available to work weekends, holidays.
• Excellent customer service and oral communication skills.
• Ability to lift 20-40 lbs., carry 20-40 lbs, push/pull 40+ lbs. Ability to be on feet throughout the day.
• Ability to meet attendance guidelines.
• Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with all contacts both inside and outside the company.

Compensation and Benefits:
