Mashreq is seeking a Trade & FX Specialist - SME - FX to implement product programs for SME segments, drive profitability and market penetration, and manage RBG SE Micro Neobiz FX and Trade with SE Account Managers, FX Manager and Area Managers in the UAE. The role focuses on building deep client relationships to win wallet share, shaping regional sales approaches, advancing FX propositions across transactions, coaching teams, and coordinating joint calls with BB managers while driving new-to-bank business and cross referrals with product and channel partners. Ideal candidates have a management degree with 4-5 years total and 3-4 years in Trade/FX, plus strong analytical, regulatory and relationship skills. Job purpose

  • To implement product programs based on customer segment strategies and to coordinate with proposition team (specifically SE proposition analyst) for effective product sales.
  • To drive profitability and market penetration of existing products and provide support for development of new products.

To manage overall RBG SE / Micro / Neobiz FX and Trade business by working in conjunction with SE Account Managers, FX Manager and Area Managers

Key Results

  1. To maintain close contact and relationship with respective portfolio of customers such that we remain one of their main banks getting a major share of their wallet.
  2. To support the FX manager Sales to develop differentiated sales and business development approach for different regions.
  3. To focus on product propositions across all FX Transactions and other related propositions to maximize revenue contributions.
  4. To coach Account Managers/ Rm/ VRM to enhance FX business generation opportunities.
  5. To do joint calling with BB Account Managers / BB Area Managers and understand the client need and advise them accordingly.
  6. To ensure optimum client calls are conducted on a weekly basis to maximize primary transaction banking sales.
  7. To proactively drive new-to-bank business to increase presence in the identified target segments.
  8. To arrange for relevant facility approvals as per the clients FX suitability and generate business under parameterized trade program
  9. To work closely with all product and channel partners from RBG so as to maximize opportunities provided through regular contacts, feedback, co-ordination and cross referrals

 

Knowledge & Skills

  • Preferably a management graduate with 4-5 years relevant working experience in-depth knowledge of products, services & delivery channels available for SME customers.
  • Experience in Trade and/or FX products with a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in this segment.
  • Informed in market competition, industry practices and regulations for business banking
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, networking and financial management skills.
