Portman Dental Care is looking for a Trainee Dental Nurse to join Orchard Park practice in Glasgow. This full-time onsite role offers shifts from 8.45am to 6pm and a training pathway, with the course overseen by an external provider and fully funded by PortmanDentex. While some experience helps, the team values genuine interest in health and patient service and a readiness to learn. You’ll provide chair-side support, ensure the right materials and equipment are ready, and grow into delivering high quality nursing across procedures. We have an opportunity for a Trainee Dental Nurse to join our Orchard Park practice in Glasgow

some experience is preferred but not essential  for this role. If you have a genuine interest in health and well-being, are passionate about delivering great service, and looking for a career where you can learn, grow and develop, then this could be a perfect fit for you.

About you 

We welcome your application to our Trainee Dental Nurse vacancy if you have the following skills and qualifications: 

• We recommend that you hold Maths & English GCSE grade A-C/4-9 or Key Skills/Functional Skills Level 2 

• Enjoy working as part of a team, and are a good communicator who thrives upon delivering excellent standards of patient care  

• Happy to be a key player in the team providing chair-side assistance, ensuring that the correct materials and equipment are available during each clinical session 

• Comfortable learning to perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist, hygienist or therapist in all procedures
