We're looking for three motivated and safety-focused individuals to join our Track Maintenance team in Taumarunui as Trainee Track Workers.
This is an excellent opportunity to start a long-term career in the rail industry. Working alongside experienced team members, you'll help maintain and repair New Zealand's rail network while gaining valuable skills, qualifications, and experience.
You'll be involved in:
Maintaining and repairing rail track and infrastructure
Operating tools, equipment, and light machinery
Working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
Contributing to infrastructure maintenance and improvement projects
Supporting a strong culture of health, safety, and teamwork
This role is physically active, varied, and rewarding, with comprehensive training provided from day one.

You'll need:
A full, clean New Zealand Class 1 Driver Licence
Good physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual work

The ability to pass medical, drug and alcohol, and Ministry of Justice checks
Advantageous but not essential:
Class 2 Licence
Experience in construction, infrastructure, labouring, or mechanical environments
Experience using hand tools, power tools, or machinery
