The opportunity

We are seeking a Training Coordinator to plan, schedule and administer internal and external training courses and programs to address the learning demands of our diverse workforce. our learning management systems, maintain accurate training and student records, and support compliance and audit activities. The successful candidate will liaise with leadership and function experts, coordinate learning and development activities, ensure regulatory requirements are met, and provide support for training delivery and reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Prioritise and process request for training and professional development programs
  • Schedule, coordinate and enrol learners onto training courses and events
  • Coordinate, allocate and prepare training facilities and resources
  • Assist with classroom set up and pack down, including classroom configuration, training aids and audio-visual equipment
  • Promote, administer and report on training delivery and attendance
  • Liaise and foster relationships with learners, managers, subject matter experts, facilitators and external training providers
  • Create and update learner records, evidence of training completion and course management documentation in the applicable learning management systems
  • Assist with compliance with industry and Boeing standards, regulatory requirements and quality assurance
  • Reconcile and receipt training-related costs and financial reports.

Experience/Qualifications

Essential Criteria:

  • Four or more years coordinating, scheduling or administrating training in a compliance, regulatory, defence or vocational education environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in working with a diverse range of stakeholders and customers, including trainers, students, business leaders, regulatory contacts and training providers.
  • Applicants must be Australian citizens to meet Defence security requirements.

Desirable:

  • Experience with learning management systems and e-learning platforms
  • Experience with data and records management
  • Experience with purchasing and accounting
  • Familiarity with aviation industry standard trade licences and certifications.
