Time Type: Full Time

Move forward as Training Specialist at DSV in Venlo!

Help us increase Operations knowledge within DSV Contract Logistics and prepare our organization for change. Because only then can we continue to improve.

You get it done

As a training specialist, you contribute to the development of our employees by delivering various training courses, including Warehouse Management System (WMS) training, at multiple locations across the EMEA region and online: you’re on it.

How you do this? You start with an onboarding and introduction process in which you spend the first few weeks studying DSV Operations and joining colleagues during their training sessions. Once you have built sufficient knowledge and experience, you will start delivering your own training courses, first in the Netherlands and soon beyond. In the role of training specialist, you are responsible for training DSV employees. You achieve this by:

  • delivering a variety of classroom and online training sessions across the EMEA region;
  • continuously improving and updating training materials and content;
  • organizing training sessions and coordinating them with local sites;
  • training and coaching local trainers in various countries.

Your team stands out within DSV because of its international character. With colleagues spread across the globe, you still manage to work closely together. Combined with a strong focus on continuous improvement, this allows you to help build the future of DSV, not only in Europe, but worldwide. How great is that!

We are DSV, we grow

DSV is a global provider of transport and logistics services. With offices in more than 90 countries and a growing network of partners, there is no place in the world we cannot reach via transport by air, sea, rail, courier or road or where we can offer storage in warehouses.

“Experiencing different cultures, exploring the world and contributing to the future of DSV? Then this is your chance,” says Femke Hamers, Senior Manager Training & Change Management.

In the Netherlands, we operate from over 40 branches, with more than 5,000 colleagues. Together we rise to the challenge of a rapidly changing environment. We make quick decisions at every level and combine ambition and teamwork. This is how we move forward and make a difference together.

You bring

  • a Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Learning & Development, Education, or a related field, combined with one to two years of experience within supply chain and/or logistics;
  • excellent command of the English language. Additional languages are considered a strong advantage;
  • strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills, combined with a confident personality and adaptability;
  • the ability to quickly understand processes and systems, as well as solid knowledge of Microsoft Office;
  • and last but not least, enthusiasm for regular international travel to deliver training sessions.

It all counts for this vacancy of training specialist in Venlo. Furthermore, it is of course important that you feel at home with us. That will certainly be possible if you like to keep going, have guts and want to grow with DSV.
