Group Services Transformation (GST) is a cross-functional programme which enable data-led decision-making, achieve radical cost transparency and implement a visible commercial pricing model across Vodafone Business, Group Commercial, Group Network and Group Corporate Functions. It delivers this through radically reshaping our systems, management reporting, and budgeting/forecasting processes and is a priority programme for the Group Executive Committee. The new operating model will replace the existing intercompany recharge process for Group Services (“INCA”).
In role, the Transformation FP&A Manager will be responsible for leading and delivering the end state of FP&A processes, post transformation, working closely with Group Commercial Finance team, Group FP&A, Network and VB Finance, Central Intercompany team, GC stakeholders to redesign planning, forecasting, and reporting processes and embed a “single source of truth” data foundation. The role will act as a strategic business partner, translating financial data into actionable insights, shaping business performance, and supporting long term value creation through scenario planning, performance management, and investment analysis.
The Transformation FP&A Manager will be responsible for delivering the monthly consolidated reporting, Q1, Q2 & Q3 RF consolidation and annual budget consolidation post GST go live.
Financial Strategy and Planning:
• Design and implement an efficient and effective RF/DB planning process post GST go live
• Responsible to deliver the consolidated annual budgeting process and long-term financial planning post GST go live
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to the GC Finance leaderships team leadership team
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
• Responsible for reviewing month-end and year-end results, post GST go live
• Liaise with Central Intercompany team, OpCos & GC Finance BP to keep full sight of overall GST revenues
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
Operational Efficiency & Cost management:
• Responsible for tracking GST savings across GC & reporting savings against GST targets
• Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures.
Customer engagement:
• Responsible to project manage regular finance customer engagements
• Responsible for managing ad-hoc queries from OpCo Finance teams
• Graduate, ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified or with considerable depth of experience in Finance.
• Proven finance business partner experience, acting as a point of reference in an advisory capacity to the business.
• Commercial acumen and ability to identify and solve business problems.
• Communication and presentation skills to ensure credibility with senior management.
• Ability to multi-task various projects and ad hoc requests.
• Experience in supporting a B2C unit is a plus.
