TRANSPORT COORDINATOR

DP World is seeking a Transport Coordinator to monitor and create missions in Micro-Transport Software, produce customer requested daily reports, coordinate shipment arrangements with the dispatch team, and ensure on time pick up, loading and departure. The role requires handling customer queries, proactively engaging with internal and external customers and suppliers to deliver complete transportation solutions, and liaising with transport and warehouse operations for timely updates and PODs. You will measure and control warehouse, transport and documentation activities to meet timelines and service levels, and prepare inbound and outbound status reports and monthly billing information. To apply effectively, showcase experience with transport management systems, a proven track record of on time shipments, strong cross functional communication, and a customer service orientation, plus willingness to work onsite in Dubai and contribute to a diverse global team.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Monitor and create missions in Micro-Transport Software (MT) based on daily operational schedules. 
• Provide daily reports generated from MT software as per the customer’s request.
• Coordinate shipment arrangements with the dispatch team to ensure shipments are scheduled for pick up, loading, and departure to destination on time. 
• Ensure customers queries are handled as per the process. 
• Proactively interact with internal and external customers and suppliers to provide complete transportation solutions.
• Liaises with transport operations and warehouse operations to provide regular updates for shipments and for timely receipt of PODs. 
• Measure and control warehouse, transport, and documentation activities to ensure that timelines and service levels are met. 
• Prepare necessary inbound & outbound status reports, billing and any other reports as required. 
• Ensure information is available for billing within monthly timelines. 
• Any other duty assigned by the Line Manager from time to time to meet the business requirement.
