Great Bear, part of the Culina Group, is hiring a Transport Planner for a full-time, on-site role in Markham Vale, United Kingdom, offering £31,804 per year and a 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday schedule. In this role you will oversee day-to-day transport planning across multiple UK warehouses and manufacturing sites, manage subcontracting, complete compliance admin, plan daily workload for a fleet, and coordinate with customers, sub-contract hauliers and internal teams. You should bring proven transport planning expertise in a busy environment, strong problem solving and organizational skills, and the ability to make decisions under pressure, particularly at peak periods. SAP, BPCS and Road Runner knowledge are advantageous. As Transport Planner you will oversee the day to day planning of the transport operation. A highly motivated and driven individual, you will be experienced at working in a busy transport department, able to deal with day to day challenges and provide cost effective solutions to the customer.
