Worley Canada Construction is seeking Turnover Planner/Coordinator to join our IPL Project in Fort Saskatchewan, AB

Project Description:

  • 5 days on 2 day off - 10 hours a day (schedule may be adjusted during outage period)
  • Sit-based position.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Your main task will be to extract information from the client provided data base and produce Turnaround Packages that have a detailed scope, the latest rev drawings, 3D model shots, confirmed material availability, scaffold and equipment needs. These packages when complete will be released for execution. 

  • Work with the material management team to confirm material status for each Turnaround Work Package prior to release. 

  • Work with safety and quality department to identify specific training or special safety requirements for each Turnaround Work Package

  • Proactively develop and maintain lessons learned during the Turnaround 

  • Support and be an effective contributor on change management 

  • Perform other duties in as assigned in an efficient manner

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with a 3D modeling program such as SmartPlant 3D or Naviswork is an asset 
  • MS Office (Excel and Word) knowledge is required
  • On-site field experience is preferred
  • Working knowledge of industrial Maintenance & Turnaround execution is preferred
  • Technical school graduate with piping discipline experience is preferred
  • Must demonstrate an excellent safety-oriented mindset, ability to work independently and have excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be comfortable and capable of effective communicating with on-site Maintenance & Turnaround personnel
  • Must have 2 years of planning experience
