Overview of what you will do

  • Validate and confirm transactions across various commodity markets and trading counterparties
  • Prepare and validate commodity invoices and associated fees
  • Manage daily cash margining processes with trading counterparties
  • Resolve queries from internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms and regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to financial and trading reporting for various business units
  • Develop and maintain efficient administrative processes with clear audit trails

What you will bring to the role

  • At least 2 years of experience in a Back Office environment within the UK/European energy industry
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, with coding skills (e.g., VBA, Python, SQL, Power BI) considered favorably
  • Experience with ETRM systems for the energy industry, such as Orchestrade (OT), is a plus
  • Self-driven and proactive, with the ability to work without direct supervision
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills
  • Clear and confident communication style with a customer focus
  • Adaptable to change and able to work effectively in a small team environment
