Job Purpose:

To manage & monitor overall CASA portfolio new to bank acquisition, business development, manage existing portfolio, team management, Servies and transaction management in coordination with Head of Business banking – Coverage 

Principal Accountabilities:

Overall end to end management of the team, drive & direct sales & non sales staff responsible for acquiring CASA , maintaining & servicing liabilities portfolio and revenue streams of FX,NFI & NII, Cash Management & Trade Products within UAE.

Maintain & manage healthy CASA portfolio acquire new to bank CASA clients & Existing CASA portfolio of SME clients , retain & grow SME banking relationships in a profitable manner and in line with assigned CASA business growth targets.

Play key role in change management strategies with responsibilities of enhancing existing products offerings, system processes management and digitizing all services channels for SME Banking clients.

Identify, solicit and acquire new business clients & vendors in line with approved corporate strategies for Liabilities, Trade and Treasury Sales and in compliance with the bank target market for SME Banking.

Responsible for Hiring , training & motivating staff for high level performance and productivity by maintaining an healthy & competitive environment

Negotiate appropriate credit lines in conformity with the Bank’s underwriting standards and risk adjusted targets after thorough analysis of information necessary for the preparation of a detailed credit proposal with responsibilities of onboarding New to Bank SME banking clients as per the Bank’s KYC and due diligences policies.

Conduct account planning with assigned team members and cross selling other products & services to SME clients to ensure multi-product relationship and greater Share of wallet on all revenue streams. Facilitating other lines of business in exploring business opportunities through referrals to Wealth/Consumer Banking segments.

Comply with internal audit requirements in line with the policy guidelines, to ensure high standards of uniformity and consistency across the Bank

Establish effective & professional communication (both internal and external) to ensure turnaround time within designated parameters and higher client satisfaction levels.

Ensure timely and accurate credit administrations through timely completion of annual reviews and regular monitoring of financials, covenants and other parameters within the review cycle.

Keep abreast of developments in the local business environment to spot business opportunities. Contribute to the planning process in order to develop corporate business strategies

Requirements

Education and Experience

Bachelors Degree in Business, Economics or Finance

8 – 10 years of experience in SME banking Liabilities in the UAE, with Team Management.

Ideally incumbent should have had exposure to one or more emerging markets.

Business acumen and ability to prepare plans and strategies are essential.

The ability to forge close relationships with external constituents as a senior representative of the bank.

People management skills
