About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Urgent Care team. You will provide high-quality nursing support, conduct timely patient triage, identify deterioration and work closely with Urgent Care Medical Practitioners to deliver excellent patient care.

Your Responsibilities
• Act as the first point of contact and conduct accurate, timely nursing triage.
• Assess patients, prioritise care and identify/escalate emergencies or deterioration.
• Deliver hands-on clinical care including wound care, suturing, plastering and assisting with procedures.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centred care in collaboration with patients, families and medical practitioners.
• Support patients with health education and achieving positive clinical outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Contribute to workplace health, safety and quality initiatives.
• Adapt confidently to a fast-paced and changing Urgent Care environment.
About You
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Emergency, triage, ICU/CCU or rural/remote nursing.
• Previous triage, emergency or remote nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and escalation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, delegate appropriately and work effectively within a team.
• Passion for patient-centred care.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.
