In this role, you’ll be embedded in the Intelematics team, which delivers innovative safety and connected vehicle solutions.
About the Opportunity
As our UX/UI Designer, you’ll design and create intuitive, visually engaging and functional user experiences and interfaces for new and existing internal Intelematics products and platforms. Support external OEM partners and broader RACV companies and programs. The designer will ensure that all digital touchpoints deliver exceptional user experiences that enhance usability, reduce complexity, and align with business objectives, ultimately driving adoption and satisfaction across diverse user groups.

You’ll work closely with Product Owners, Technical Leads, developers, Marketing and business stakeholders to translate AI capabilities into user-centred solutions that deliver measurable efficiencies, while upholding RACV’s design standards and accessibility requirements.

Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be doing:
UX/UI Design
· Deliver and execute end-to-end design using agile and design thinking principles
· Create journey maps, wireframes and interactive prototypes, for web and Saas Platforms
· Refine concepts into high-fidelity designs ready for implementation
· Create interaction flows and UI patterns that enable intuitive experiences
· Producing creative assets for digital media and social content, working closely with internal marketing and content functions
· Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications
User Research & Analysis
· Conduct user testing, analysis and evaluation to identify opportunities to improve experiences
Help facilitate ideation sessions and design workshops using HCD methods
· Translate insights into actionable design solutions that address pain points and enhance workflows
Stakeholder Management
· Collaborate on designs with key project stakeholders and subject matter experts
· Present design concepts and rationale for feedback and approval
· Drive high-quality delivery by partnering with Product Owners, Technical Leads and Business Owners
Who we’re looking for and what you’ll bring
Thrive in an environment where people are at the heart of everything. You’ll come with:
· Minimum 3+ years’ experience in UX design (or equivalent industry experience) in a digital/design practice
· Experience designing internal interfaces (e.g., CRM), tools and systems
· Ability to translate complex AI capabilities into user-centred design solutions
· Experience working with supporting Saas PLatforms
· Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Miro and Jira
· Experience creating/maintaining design systems, component libraries and interaction patterns for emerging technologies like AI
· Tertiary background in Design, HCI, Digital Communications, Psychology or related field (or equivalent experience)
· Portfolio demonstrating delivered work and strong UX processes
· Basic front-end knowledge (HTML/JS/CSS) to support collaboration with developers
