ALTEN is hiring a VIE Production Engineer in the Aeronautical sector for Hamburg on a full-time onsite basis. You will coordinate stakeholders from suppliers to customers, oversee production scheduling and planning, ensure on-time delivery of correct components with quality control, and manage stock while ordering needed parts. You’ll prepare and analyze KPIs to measure results and drive improvement plans. The ideal candidate has a mechanical engineering degree with a focus on production, aerospace experience, is open and communicative, knows SAP ERP, and speaks English and German. Your are going to: 

• Coordinate various stakeholders necessary for the production activity (from suppliers to customers)
• Are responsible for production scheduling and planification of production, ensuring that the correct components are delivered on time with the correct quality control the stock to ensure all components are available and order parts that are needed
• Prepare, update and analyze KPIS to measure production results and define improvement plans and their implementation

Qualifications

You... 

• Have completed a mechanical engineering degree or comparable studies with a focus on production techniques
• Have experience in production planning, ideally in the aerospace industry
• Are an open and communicative person have practical experience with tools like SAP ERP
• Speak fluent English and German
