Van Driver/Trade Sales Assistant

This full-time Tauranga role with Specialized Construction Products, part of DuluxGroup, combines van driving with trade sales support, offering steady hours from 7am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. You will load and deliver building materials, maintain stock levels, handle EFTPOS and cash, uphold safety, and deliver great customer service while verifying orders and keeping vehicle records. What You’ll Be Doing

Working for Specialized Construction Products (part of the DuluxGroup), as our Driver / Trade Sales Assistant you’ll be part of a busy team providing service and support both internally & to our range of customers either instore or delivering products. You’ll enjoy a variety of responsibilities and have the potential to learn new skills and grow within our expanding business.

This is a permanent full-time position. Your working hours will be 7am - 4pm Monday – Friday and a full NZ Driver License is required. 

 Responsibilities

• Managing cash handling and EFTPOS systems
• Providing support with stock takes and maintaining adequate stock levels
• Adhering to safety standards in all tasks performed
•  Efficiently loading/unloading products and transporting materials
• Ensuring high standards of customer service; following road rules while transporting materials; verifying inventory contents against orders; maintaining vehicle records, and reporting faults to management

What we're looking for

• Class 2/Class 4 driver’s license will be an added bonus, we can support you get it if you don't
• Customer service-oriented with strong communication skills, effective time management, and resilience
• Forklift license / F endorsement will be an added bonus, we can support you get it if you don't
