Greencross Brookvale is looking for an experienced Full-Time nurse to join their team. 

Greencross Brookvale is a modern, community focused practice with some very lovely and loyal clients! Co-located onsite at a Petbarn retail store allowing for a steady-stream of cross-referrals and providing a full range of pet care, helping achieve a truly memorable and positive experience. 

We are committed to providing the highest quality of care for our patients and the very best service for our clients. We have a high focus on stress free handling to ensure our patients are as comfortable as possible.

Our Philosophy is to approach the care and wellbeing of our client's pets as if they were our own. We invest ourselves emotionally as well as professionally so they can be assured that their pet is in the best of hands.

Your new role:

  • Full-time hours
  • Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care
  • Performing minor procedures when required
  • Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
  • Handling client enquiries professionally in person, by email and over the phone

Your skills and experience:

  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with min. 2+ years clinical experience 
  • An extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
  • Great communication and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of RX Works ideal but not essential
  • Confidence in monitoring anaesthesia
  • A calm, friendly, team player attitude
  • Experience in team-based care advantageous
  • Ability to work well autonomously and also within a team environment
