The Los Angeles Clippers are seeking a Vice President, New Business Ticket Sales to lead and evolve our ticket revenue strategy. This is a newly created role responsible for building and scaling a Business-to-Business (B2B) ticket sales function focused on corporate and premium buyers, while providing strategic leadership across the broader sales org.  

Reporting directly to our Head of Sales and Services, with regular interaction with our CEO, this role provides strategic vision, hands-on leadership, and creative commercial thinking to drive growth in premium and high-value ticket products while developing a high-performing, business-minded sales organization. You will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, developing sales talent, and expanding our presence within the business community, with a particular emphasis on premium and high-value ticket products.

What You’ll Do:  

Strategic Leadership & Revenue Growth

  • Own and execute the overall membership ticket sales strategy, with a strong focus on premium and high-value products. 
  • Drive innovative sales approaches that expand market reach, diversify revenue streams, and unlock new buyer segments.
  • Set annual and long-term revenue goals across Membership Sales, Inside Sales, and B2B ticket sales.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Premium Sales, Marketing, Ticket Operations and Business Insights to align go-to-market strategy. 

Business-to-Business Sales Development 

  • Design and build a new B2B ticket sales function focused on corporate buyers, hospitality clients, and business decision-makers.
  • Define B2B sales strategy, target verticals, prospecting models, and pipeline development processes.
  • Enable the team to consistently generate and convert new business leads, with an emphasis on premium and enterprise-level opportunities. 

Team Leadership & Development 

  • Lead, mentor, and develop manager-level direct reports responsible for Membership Sales and Inside Sales. 
  • Build a culture of accountability, creativity, and continuous improvement across the ticket sales organization.
  • Establish clear career pathways, coaching frameworks, and performance standards that support employee growth and retention.
  • Actively develop future sales leaders within the organization. 

Sales Enablement & Innovation  

  • Champion creative selling strategies, new business development ideas, and modern prospecting techniques.
  • Ensure teams are equipped with the tools, training, and data needed to identify, pursue, and close high-value opportunities.
  • Evaluate and optimize sales processes, CRM usage, and performance metrics.
  • Stay current on industry trends, buyer behavior, and best practices in sports and entertainment sales. 

Qualifications & Experience 

  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience, preferably in sports, entertainment, or high-value B2B sales environments.
  • Proven success leading multi-layered sales teams and senior leaders.
  • Experience selling premium, high-priced products to both consumers and businesses.
  • Demonstrated ability to build new sales functions or materially grow existing ones.
  • Strong track record of developing talent and building high-performing teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, results-driven leadership style
  • Excellent communication, executive presence, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Intuit Dome is the new home of the LA Clippers located in Inglewood, California. Intuit Dome is built different -- it redefines fans’ expectations for live experiences and changes the music landscape in Los Angeles. 

Set to host the 2026 NBA All-Star game, Intuit Dome is over 1 million square feet and features our team training center, business operations offices, five full-sized basketball courts, an 80,000 square foot outdoor plaza and a double-sided Halo Board composed of more than an acre of LED. 

 

Compensation 

  • The range for this position is $200,000 - $240,000 base salary with a performance based bonus incentive. Compensation package offered will be based on multiple individualized factors, including a candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. 
  • The role is classified as exempt.
