Join our affiliate TotalEnergies EP UAE in Abu Dhabi !


You will hold a Controlling position within the Finance team of TotalEnergies in the United Arab Emirates.


You will be involved in the monitoring and steering of operating expenses for a key Group entity (TotalEnergies UAE Services), in a demanding international environment with strong exposure to both local management and headquarters.


At the core of the financial planning and analysis process, you will be responsible for:

1. Budget steering and closing activities

  • Actively contribute to monthly closings, budgets, and forecasts by department
  • Produce performance analyses and explain variances versus budget/forecasts
  • Contribute to the preparation of management reporting


2. Accounts reliability and control

  • Monitor and challenge cost recognition (invoices, accruals)
  • Ensure proper allocation of expenses across departments and entities
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of control processes


3. Interfaces and coordination

  • Work closely with accounting, operational teams, and headquarters
  • Manage intercompany recharges and service requests (RFS)


4. Management support

  • Respond to ad hoc requests (analyses, presentations, studies)
  • Contribute to high value-added cross-functional topics


Candidate Profile

Expected qualifications:

  • MSc degree or Engineering degree in Finance

Technical skills:

  • Corporate finance (understanding balance sheet/ income statement/cash flow mechanics)
  • Basics of accounting/cost control
  • Analytical skills, rigor in processing figures and managing deadlines

Computing skills: 

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package, in particular Excel and Powerpoint
  • Knowledge of SAP (FI/CO modules) ans Essbase

Languages:

  • English: level C1
  • French: level B2/C1
