This fantastic opportunity will see you leading our Molly Ryan community in sunny New Plymouth, supported by a great team and surrounded by an exceptional group of residents and their whanau.  

Set within five and a half acres of beautifully maintained gardens and lawns, Molly Ryan Retirement Village is part of an Arvida Living Well Community offering both independent living and aged care services in the heart of New Plymouth. Our village is known for its welcoming atmosphere and strong sense of community, shaped by the people and lifestyle of the region.

As the Village Manager you will oversee all day-to-day operations including team leadership, resident satisfaction, clinical care, sales, landscape and property maintenance, and overall financial performance. 

Qualifications

To ensure the ongoing success of Molly Ryan, you are an experienced and passionate operator. Your commercial acumen, strong leadership skills, and continuous improvement mindset will continue to nourish a thriving business and resident-focused community, and, at a minimum you will demonstrate: 

  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar role (senior living experience preferred). 
  • Ability to engage and foster relationships with prospective and established residents and ensure Arvida’s reputation is enhanced in the local community. 
  • Experience in leading, coaching and developing people - fostering a values-led culture. 
  • Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to deliver operational goals.   
  • Knowledge and experience of aged residential care preferred, or related health or social sector experience. 
  • Understanding and application of relevant legislation. 
  • Good knowledge of Health & Safety management and safe working practices.
