Lely is seeking a Vision Test Automation Engineer to validate and safeguard computer vision in its AI-driven robotic systems, designing automated system-level regression tests driven by vision KPIs for object detection and tracking in real-world contexts. You will work in multidisciplinary Scrum teams with software engineers, CV specialists, test engineers, data scientists and electronics engineers to keep vision pipelines robust in production, contributing to AI model training and evaluation and integrating tests into CI/CD. Requirements: bachelor’s or master’s in Computer Science, AI, or Robotics; 2+ years in test automation or AI/vision; Python with PyTorch; CUDA; Linux; Git; CI/CD; and on-site availability in Maassluis. As a Vision Test Automation Engineer, you focus on validating and safeguarding computer vision functionalities within our robotic systems. You design and implement automatic system-level regression tests, using vision KPIs to reliably verify object detection and tracking in realistic, real-world scenarios.
You work closely with multidisciplinary Scrum teams within Product Development, including software engineers, computer vision specialists, test engineers, data scientists, and electronics engineers. Together, you ensure that vision pipelines and AI models perform consistently, robustly, and safely in production environments.
