You’ll monitor fashion trends, report store needs, act as a brand ambassador and help minimize stock loss while delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate has 1 year VM experience, a passion for fashion and sport, strong communication and detail orientation, and fluent local language skills with a high school qualification. PURPOSE & IMPACT ON ORGANIZATION:
Contribute to meeting or exceeding store sales and profit targets by ensuring the efficient and effective implementation of the global visual merchandising direction in assigned store.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Communication:
- Cascade information from Market VM manager to SM and Store staff through training and meetings.
- Participate in team meetings and team huddles to analyze stock, sales and KPIs to drive VM performance.
- Provide feedback on store needs after alignment with SM.
2. Merchandising Display:
- Ensure store complies with global standards and guidelines.
- Maintain high standards for windows, mannequins, lighting, cleanliness and pricing communication.
- Create clear Shop-in-Shop presentations.
- Ensure correct use of in-store communication tools.
- Dress mannequins and place props correctly.
- Apply and maintain retail standards.
- Conduct daily VM audits using checklist.
- Complete monthly VM compliance submissions.
- Update weekly space management plan and align with SM.
- Support campaign changes (including night shifts if required).
3. In-store VM Training:
- Train team members on VM standards, folding, hanger usage, sizing and presentation.
- Train on store layout and wall configuration (Train the Trainer).
- Enhance consumer journey.
4. VM Reporting:
- Monitor competitors and fashion trends and share insights.
- Identify and communicate store needs (fixtures / ISC).
- Support additional tasks requested by SM / VM Manager.
5. Equipment Control:
- Manage and store fixtures, mannequins, props correctly.
- Handle equipment carefully to avoid damage.
- Follow health and safety requirements.
6. Customer Service and Operations:
- Deliver brand customer service standards.
- Act as a brand ambassador.
- Demonstrate product knowledge and communicate benefits clearly.
- Minimize stock loss.
- Execute store operations efficiently and safely.
- Collaborate effectively with team members.
- Complete required training and continuously improve.
