MOIA seeks a VP Embedded Systems Engineer to own the embedded platform powering its autonomous fleet, lead teams, and shape strategy from system definition to validation while ensuring safety, cybersecurity and regulatory compliance across vehicle, backend and mobility layers. This senior role demands proven leadership of automotive embedded software and hardware architecture, managing large budgets and stakeholders including VW Group units and partners, delivering scalable systems for SAE Level 4. To apply, tailor your CV with concrete results in platform scaling, risk management and executive collaboration; highlight English fluency, German is a plus, and share authentic examples of alignment with MOIA’s hybrid, diverse culture.
At MOIA, we are building the autonomous mobility ecosystem of tomorrow. As part of the Volkswagen Group’s long-term vision for Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) and Transport-as-a-Service (TaaS), we are developing scalable SAE Level 4 autonomous vehicle systems that will redefine urban transportation.
We are looking for a visionary and execution-driven VP Embedded Systems Engineer to take end-to-end responsibility for the embedded systems powering our autonomous fleet. This is a senior leadership role with full accountability for architecture, integration, safety, validation, and release of the embedded platform across vehicle, backend, and mobility systems.
This is not a functional leadership role - it is full system ownership. You will shape the embedded foundation of MOIA’s autonomous mobility platform, influence long-term vehicle architectures, and ensure safe, scalable, and production-ready systems for the next generation of transportation.
