Job Description

Job Summary

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing manufacturing warehouse and stockroom operations to ensure accurate inventory, timely material availability for production, and a safe, organized work environment. This role supports production efficiency, cost control, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Inventory Operations

  • Manage daily receiving, storage, issuing, and material tracking.
  • Maintain organization, housekeeping, and safety standards.
  • Ensure effective gate coverage and optimize warehouse layout and workflow.
  • Lead cycle counts, resolve inventory discrepancies, and maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Analyze KPIs and drive continuous improvement.

Coordination & Communication

  • Work closely with production, purchasing, and planning to support material flow.
  • Ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods.

Leadership

  • Supervise, train, and develop warehouse staff.
  • Oversee performance management, coaching, and staffing decisions.
  • Support onboarding and employee engagement in safety and improvement initiatives.

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all EHS guidelines and report unsafe conditions promptly.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing warehouse/stockroom.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing practices and regulations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D-365) is considered an asset.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid math, problem-solving, and interpretation abilities.
