Warehouse Manager – Pharma Logistics

We are seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations within our GDP-compliant pharmaceutical warehouse. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing warehouse staff, ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining regulatory compliance, and fostering a strong quality and safety culture. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including the receipt, storage, handling, and distribution of pharmaceutical products.
- Lead and develop a team of warehouse employees, ensuring productivity, engagement, and adherence to GDP, safety, and quality standards.
- Drive a culture of safety, quality, and compliance, ensuring all activities meet internal and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP), customer requirements, and applicable pharmaceutical regulations.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and implement best practices for stock control, batch management, and traceability.
- Manage temperature-controlled operations, ensuring continuous monitoring and compliance with validated storage conditions.
- Support audits and inspections from customers, regulatory authorities, and internal quality teams.
- Investigate operational deviations, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs), and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Optimize warehouse processes to improve efficiency, service levels, and operational performance.
- Ensure adherence to security procedures for pharmaceutical products and controlled access requirements.
- Develop and maintain training programs to ensure employees remain qualified and compliant with GDP and safety standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar leadership role within pharmaceutical logistics, healthcare supply chain, life sciences, or a highly regulated warehouse environment.
- Strong understanding of Good Distribution Practice (GDP) requirements and quality management systems.
- Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and logistics software.
- Knowledge of temperature-controlled storage, monitoring systems, and pharmaceutical handling requirements.
- Demonstrated experience leading safety, quality, and compliance initiatives.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to develop high-performing teams.
- Experience supporting customer audits, regulatory inspections, and continuous improvement programs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment.
- Proficiency in English; Dutch is considered an advantage.
