Based in Newmarket, this is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who can provide water quality science - subject matter expertise to our operational teams, other water industry practitioners and our internal partners. The work you will be doing really makes a difference - looking after the environment and helping the community to stay healthy.
In this role you will:
- Ensure the delivery of Watercare's water quality performance goals and objectives, aligned with our business and customer expectations
- Maintain water quality data, systems and associated programmes
- Develop and management of business processes associated with drinking water.
- Enhance our communities understanding of water quality by providing water quality science expertise, assisting with education programmes and community engagement activities

Manage the provisions of water quality metrics to our customers and connected communities

In this role you will bring
- Equivalent to a tertiary degree in science, biological science, engineering or related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proven ability to develop data and manage data collection systems
- Knowledge and experience in business continuance systems and quality systems
- An understanding of drinking water regulation and public health risk management is desirable
