Egis Group is seeking a Wellington Transport Lead (Principal Transport Engineer) to head our Wellington transport team, blending project delivery, design leadership and business growth within a global firm. Working with the Transportation Leader NZ, you will guide transport infrastructure projects for private and public sector clients from feasibility and business cases through to developed designs and construction, sign off technical outputs, and manage scope, resources and budget across concurrent programs. You’ll lead engineers, foster cross discipline collaboration and build strong client relationships to grow the roads portfolio. Working closely with the Transportation Leader - NZ, your primary focus will be on the leadership of our Wellington based Transport team. This position encompasses a blend of project execution and oversight, design leadership as well as fostering business growth and nurturing client relationships.
What you’ll do:
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have 10+ years' professional experience in providing exceptional technical expertise in major roads and highways projects within a consultancy environment. You will also have proven people leadership skills, passion and dedication to the growth and development of your team.
