Job Description

The Wellness Instructor is responsible for designing and delivering holistic wellness programs that support the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of guests. This role combines expertise in fitness, yoga, meditation, and lifestyle practices with the SO/ brand’s creative, stylish, and vibrant personality. The Wellness Instructor creates memorable guest experiences by integrating movement, mindfulness, and relaxation into daily resort life, in line with the All-Inclusive Collection concept.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Instruction

  • Conduct group and individual wellness sessions, including yoga, meditation, Pilates, stretching, breathwork, or mindfulness practices.
  • Provide lifestyle and wellness guidance tailored to guests' needs, helping them achieve balance, relaxation, and vitality.
  • Create a warm and motivating atmosphere that encourages participation across different fitness and experience levels.
  • Educate guests on holistic well-being practices that can extend beyond their stay.

Program Development

  • Design a diverse calendar of wellness activities that aligns with guest profiles, brand positioning, and seasonal events.
  • Collaborate with Spa, Fitness, and Entertainment teams to deliver integrated wellness and lifestyle offerings.
  • Support the resort’s wellness positioning by developing signature programs, retreats, or themed events.

Operations & Safety

  • Ensure all wellness spaces (studios, outdoor areas, relaxation spaces) are clean, safe, and well-prepared for activities.
  • Maintain wellness equipment and props in excellent condition.
  • Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards as per local regulations and SO/ brand guidelines.

Guest Relations & Engagement

  • Act as a brand ambassador, embodying the SO/ lifestyle and inspiring guests to embrace wellness as part of their holiday.
  • Build personal connections with guests by offering guidance, feedback, and encouragement.
  • Collect guest feedback to continuously enhance the wellness experience.

Qualifications

  • Certification in yoga, Pilates, meditation, holistic health, or wellness coaching (Yoga Alliance, Pilates Method Alliance, or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in a luxury resort, spa, or wellness center.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; fluent English required (additional languages are an advantage).
  • Creative, energetic, and empathetic personality with a genuine passion for wellness and lifestyle.
  • Knowledge of current wellness trends, holistic practices, and sustainable living.
  • First aid and CPR certification preferred.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
