The Opportunity


This is a 9 month fixed term contract where you’ll join at a really meaningful moment, helping shape how our finance systems support the business, our customers and our future growth. You’ll be trusted to lead, to question, to collaborate and to bring clarity to complexity, with real influence on outcomes and a voice that’s heard.

What you will be doing:
As our Workday Business Analyst, you’ll play a key role in designing and translating finance requirements into scalable Workday solutions. You’ll partner closely with Finance, Technology and our implementation partner to ensure the platform supports strong controls, efficient processes and high quality reporting.

Your work will include:

  • Leading end to end business analysis across Workday Financials, with a strong focus on Fund Accounting and financial workflows

  • Documenting Acurity to Workday transaction flows, ensuring full traceability from source systems through to the general ledger

  • Designing Accounting Centre rules to support automated journal processing, including account derivation, allocations and intercompany logic

  • Partnering with Finance SMEs to capture requirements across tax, GST and regulatory reporting

  • Supporting the configuration of Prism Analytics data models for management reporting and regulatory submissions

  • Working with integration teams to define data flows across systems including fund platforms, payroll, banking and reporting tools

  • Reviewing solution designs and ensuring they align to requirements and internal technology standards

  • Supporting UAT, change and training to help Finance teams adopt new processes with confidence

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong experience as a Business Analyst on finance or ERP implementations, ideally Workday Financials

  • Hands on exposure to Accounting Centre or similar journal automation solutions

  • A solid understanding of financial accounting including general ledger, journals, close processes and tax

  • Experience working with finance data flows, integrations and system reconciliations

  • Exposure to regulatory environments within financial services, ideally APRA regulated

  • Confidence writing clear requirements, process maps and functional specifications

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work closely with Finance and Technology teams

  • A practical, solutions focused mindset with the ability to bridge business needs and technical delivery
