Meridian Energy is seeking a full‑time Workplace Services Co‑ordinator to be the welcoming go to person for staff in Wellington, G2. You will welcome and set up new employees, run inductions, manage the pool vehicle fleet, administer security access and alarms, maintain facilities, and support events while collaborating across Meridian and partners. The ideal candidate combines a genuine people focus with adaptability, strong stakeholder relationships, advanced computer literacy, and excellent written and verbal communication, plus a positive, energetic attitude; previous admin experience is a plus and a full clean driver’s license is essential.  Mō te tūranga | What you’ll be doing    

The Workplace Services Co-ordinator plays a key role in ensuring the workplace is consistent with Meridian's values of ‘How we Work’, by being a ‘go to person’ for staff to help them resolve issues and become self sufficient. Some of your responsibilities will include: 

  • Supporting the welcoming and set up of new employees,   
  • Completing inductions 
  • Managing and maintaining the pool vehicle fleet 
  • Administering security access and alarms  
  • Maintaining the office facilities 
  • Provide support for events and functions  
  • Work with teams and stakeholders within Meridian and externally 
  • Be a positive face for the team!

  • Ability to learn new systems and embrace change with a positive mindset

  • Advanced computer literacy skills 
  • Thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment   
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Previous administrative experience is a plus  
  • A vibrant, energetic, and optimistic attitude to every day and every challenge
  • Full (clean) driver’s license
