Job Description

Our 24‑month Graduate Development Programme (GDP) gives you the foundation to become a well-rounded consultant and launch a successful career.

From day one, you’ll immerse yourself in Turner & Townsend - building networks, learning how our business works, and gaining real industry experience. Your structured development plan will introduce you to the technical and commercial skills needed to grow, supported by your peers and manager.

Learning goes beyond on‑the‑job experience. You’ll receive a mix of technical and behavioural training delivered by both experienced professionals and peers, helping you build confidence and capability. We also support professional qualifications through leading industry bodies.

As part of our Project Management, Cost Management or Project Controls teams, you’ll help deliver major programmes that create positive impact across communities and industries. You’ll gain experience across sectors such as infrastructure, aviation, rail, utilities, energy and defence.

You’ll be involved in:

  • Managing project delivery and client commitments
  • Preparing project documentation and schedules
  • Supporting procurement, risk, change and governance processes
  • Working across the full project lifecycle

You’ll also have opportunities to pursue qualifications with APM—including PMQ, PPQ and eventually ChPP—and, depending on your role, RICS accreditation.

Qualifications

Our Graduates are strategic, analytical thinkers who see solutions where others see challenges. They come from diverse backgrounds though are committed to making a difference and share a genuine enthusiasm for how the world works. We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Have completed an undergraduate degree after October 2023, or expect to complete your final subject by December 2026, including any internships or work experience placements required for graduation
  • Are available to commence full time work in February 2027
  • Are an Australian or New Zealand citizen, Australian permanent resident or are eligible for an Australian 485 Graduate Visa
  • Have a strong command of the English language, both verbal and written
  • Are clearly motivated for joining the construction industry at Turner & Townsend, specifically
  • Are passionate about pursuing a career in the discipline for which you are applying
  • Possess a growth-mindset and a love for learning on the job
