We are looking for an Accommodation Manager Europe to join our team! This full-time role is responsible for executing and optimizing HYROX’s accommodation strategy across Europe, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and commercially successful accommodation solutions for athletes, staff, contractors, and key stakeholders.
Your role will be central to enhancing the overall HYROX event experience by securing strategic hotel partnerships, managing accommodation programs, and optimizing travel and lodging operations across our growing European event portfolio. Working closely with the Head of Department and the Event Production, Commercial, Marketing, and Operations teams, you will help deliver seamless accommodation experiences that support participant growth, strengthen partner relationships, and drive additional revenue opportunities for HYROX.
Strategic Execution & Partnership Management: Execute the overarching European accommodation strategy across all events by securing, negotiating, and managing hotel contracts, room blocks, and strategic hospitality partnerships with hotel groups, tourism boards, and SOPs.
Athlete Accommodation Program & Commercial Growth: Implement and manage the European Athlete Accommodation Program to enhance the participant journey, monitoring room pickup and reporting metrics to maximize commercial value, athlete satisfaction, and incremental revenue.
Stakeholder Logistics & Travel Operations: Coordinate end-to-end travel and lodging arrangements (hotels, flights, ground transportation) for event leadership, staff, contractors, and key stakeholders across our growing European event portfolio.
Budgeting & Operational Governance: Manage assigned accommodation budgets with strict financial accountability while maintaining, operationalizing, and continuously improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for travel and lodging management.
Cross-Functional Alignment & Regional Expansion: Collaborate closely with Event Production, Commercial, Operations, and Marketing teams to identify scalable accommodation solutions that support market growth and broader business targets.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in hotel contracting, accommodation management, hospitality partnerships, travel management, event operations, or a related field. Experience working within large-scale sporting events, mass participation events, or the hospitality industry is preferred.
Commercial & Negotiation Skills: Strong contract negotiation and relationship management skills with hotels, hospitality groups, and travel partners.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Word, Google Drive and presentation software. Experience with hotel booking platforms, accommodation management systems, CRM tools, or travel management software is advantageous.
Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple events, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously. Proactive problem-solving and decision-making skills - the ability to identify challenges and implement scalable solutions.
Flexibility: Willingness to travel regularly across Europe and support events on-site when required. Flexibility to work outside regular office hours, including evenings and weekends, during peak event periods.
Passion: A keen interest in sports, endurance events, and the HYROX community is highly desirable.
