Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our dynamic Albany team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing key client accounts within the building & construction industry, driving sales, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

You’ll take over an established customer base, with the opportunity and expectation to grow it further. This will involve increasing share of wallet (SOW) within existing accounts, strengthening relationships, and actively bringing on new customers each month.

About the Role:

  • Your number one priority will be to manage and grow an existing portfolio of customers within the building & construction market
  • Hunt out new opportunities and provide great customer service
  • Identify sales growth in the building & construction space and produce opportunities to meet revenue targets
  • Manage strong customer relationships through outstanding communication skills
  • Collaborate closely with the wider teams to support branch success and deliver a seamless customer experience

We’re after someone:

  • With 3+ years' proven experience delivering strong sales growth
  • Comfortable delivering on, and exceeding targets
  • Who is sales process oriented
  • Who is driven to increase sales year on year with a positive attitude
  • With experience in selling fasteners or working in a trade environment (preferred but not mandatory)
