D2L is hiring an Account Executive for Higher Education in the EMEA region, based in the United Kingdom and onsite, to own a full sales cycle from prospecting to close, selling the D2L suite to mid-market higher education customers with 12-18 month cycles. You’ll build and manage a 50+ account pipeline, collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage Salesforce, and participate in RFPs, product seminars, and conferences, while travel up to 25%. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of SaaS or complex solution sales, a track record of quota attainment, and comfort selling to C level buyers, plus MEDDPICC or similar methodologies and strong communication. General Description:
As an Account Executive at D2L you will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives of the assigned territory by promoting and selling the D2L product suite through professional sales techniques. This role requires proven ability to sell high-value, complex software solutions to the Higher Education market.
You will spend the majority of the role in-field developing and cultivating prospects, moving them through the sales process and closing new business. You will be supported by a Business Development Representative, who is responsible for assisting you in the creation of a qualified pipeline.
