As an Account Growth Specialist, you will take ownership of the growth and performance of a portfolio of merchants across Sydney. You will partner closely with store teams and senior retail leaders to increase adoption of Zip products, strengthen engagement and position Zip as a trusted, long term growth partner. This is a hands on, relationship driven role where your commercial mindset and energy in the field will directly impact sales performance and customer outcomes.

What you’ll own

  • Driving adoption and performance uplift across your merchant portfolio, identifying opportunities to increase sales, conversion and product utilisation
  • Building strong relationships with Store Managers, retail teams and State or Regional Managers to embed Zip into daily sales conversations
  • Delivering engaging training sessions to retail staff, ensuring they are confident, compliant and equipped to offer Zip solutions to customers
  • Analysing store performance data and insights to recommend practical strategies that optimise growth and customer experience
  • Maintaining accurate and up to date records in Salesforce, ensuring visibility of performance, activity and opportunities
  • Collaborating with Account Managers, Sales Operations, Marketing and Product teams to support cross functional initiatives and continuous improvement
  • Representing Zip in market as a professional and credible brand ambassador, strengthening our reputation as a leading and affordable way to pay

  • 2 or more years experience in field sales or account management within consumer brands, financial services or technology
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at store and regional level
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into actionable growth strategies
  • Confidence delivering training and engaging retail teams in person
  • Highly organised with strong planning and time management skills, able to manage a dynamic portfolio
  • A willingness to learn, adapt and build capability in portfolio growth and merchant engagement
  • Degree in Marketing, Business or a related field is preferred
  • A mindset that embraces AI and new tools to adapt, learn and grow.
