Accounts Payable Officer
Auckland (Mount Wellington)
Full-Time, Fixed-Term until December 2026 (Maternity Leave Cover)

About the Role

This is a full-time, fixed-term opportunity through to December 2026, based at our Mount Wellington office in Auckland.

You’ll take the lead in analysing and processing supplier invoices, ensuring timely payments and supporting month-end processes. This role requires someone confident working in a high-volume accounts payable environment, with strong attention to detail and the ability to build effective working relationships across the business and with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process high volumes of supplier invoices accurately, ensuring correct coding, GST treatment and, approvals.
  • Manage supplier records, payments and resolve queries with managers and suppliers.
  • Administer staff expenses and credit cards in the expense management system.
  • Support month-end processes, including accruals, journals, and reconciliations.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Proven experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable role
  • Experience using an expense management system
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy (<1% error rate)
  • Excellent communication skills – confident liaising with managers and suppliers
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet month-end deadlines.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills
  • The ability to quickly learn new finance systems and processes.
