This full-time, onsite role keeps a fast-paced, multi-user lab compliant and safe, enabling neutron scattering experiments. Salary is $86k-$112k plus 15.4% super. Band 4 duties include preparing spaces, stocking, inductions and precise record keeping; Band 5 adds day-to-day operations management, risk assessment, and procuring, installing and maintaining new equipment while developing methods. Requirements: Chemistry degree or Diploma, proven lab experience in a regulated setting, and the ability to communicate with diverse audiences and meet deadlines. The ACNS Laboratory Technical Officer/Senior Technical Officer undertakes laboratory and scientific activities to support and facilitate the research outcomes of ACNS and its customers by maintaining the laboratory facilities and equipment, ensuring safe and compliant operations.
