Job Description

An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced and driven individual to join our automotive operations in Victoria, based in Richmond. You will report into the National Transactional Services Manager, with your role being the Administrator for the Private Buying Team who purchase vehicles from the public. In this critically important role, you will be responsible for assisting with all required documentation from Buyers from the Private Buying Team making sure it is presented correctly and accurately before the vehicle acquisition is allowed to occur.

Training will be given to the successful applicant.
 

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with ensuring adherence to vehicle contract and acquisition rules within Private Buying Services.
  • Ensure all executed contracts of purchase are completed correctly and documentation is complete.
  • Deal with ad hoc queries from buyers.
  • Process contract payments through internet banking.
  • Booking out and Invoicing cars to our Retail Sites.
  • Daily bank reconciliation.
  • Accounts payable processing.
  • Processing Employee Reimbursement (Internal Policy is available).
  • Costing of Vehicle Inspections to stockcards.
  • Assist with Group Transactional Service Functions and Admin.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Prior working experience within automotive would be highly beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Highly accurate when it comes to daily processing and an eye for detail.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
  • Strong under pressure and ensures correct process is adhered to.
  • A professional and corporate presentation and manner.
  • Experienced in a fast-paced office culture.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer knowledge, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to think proactively.
  • Customer focused approach.
