Downer is looking for an AM Engineer in Melbourne to join the Government and Integrated Facilities Management team and help define, own and continually improve asset management standards, processes and capability. The role covers establishing the Asset Management Operating Model, contributing to technical standards and risk and opportunity management, uplifting capability through communities of practice and mentoring, and shaping the sustainability framework while building collaborative relationships with AM Hub, BU and contract teams, clients and external asset managers. You’ll need a bachelor’s degree in engineering with a relevant asset management or sustainability qualification, plus experience in asset management systems, ISO 55000 and PPPs in property and infrastructure. Highlight stakeholder leadership, data governance, and measurable improvements in your application; tailor your CV to show change leadership and mentoring, demonstrate collaboration and readiness to work onsite in Melbourne, and reflect a commitment to inclusion and belonging.
