Bombardier is seeking a full-time Analyst, Applications (BI) to join the Aerospace Canada team at the Marcel-Laurin Plant on-site in Québec, with a day shift and flexible or hybrid work options where applicable. You will collect and structure data from ERP and operations, build dashboards and KPIs in Power BI, identify trends and risks, and translate insights into actionable recommendations while ensuring data quality and governance. A degree in engineering, computer science, data analytics or statistics and experience in BI are expected, along with strong analytical and communication skills and proficiency in Power BI, SQL and Excel. What are your contributions to the team?

  • Collect, structure, and analyze data from multiple sources (ERP systems, operations, quality, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) using Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities through data analysis.
  • Provide clear, structured, and actionable insights to operational teams and management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance.
  • Automate and optimize reporting and performance-tracking processes.
  • Support decision-making through robust analysis and data-driven recommendations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes related to data management and utilization.

How to thrive in this role?

  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional and performance-oriented environments.
  • Proficient with BI tools (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate), as well as SQL and advanced Excel.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or operational environment is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of data governance or data architecture is considered an asset.
