GemLife’s Prospecta Utilities seeks a second or third year Electrical Apprentice for full-time onsite work at GemLife Gold Coast resort in Pimpama. You’ll learn from experienced electricians on installations, maintenance and commissioning across builds, commercial work and solar, while training toward a Certificate III in Electrotechnology. To stand out, show a strong work ethic, reliability and relevant electrical experience, a current driver’s licence, a white card, and proficiency with hand and power tools, plus flexibility for overtime; a Working at Heights ticket is useful but not essential. We have an opportunity for a second or third year Electrical Apprentice to join our electrical contracting company, Prospecta Utilities at our GemLife Gold Coast resort. This is a full time opportunity where you will work alongside experienced Electricians - learning installations, maintenance and commissioning across new home builds, commercial and solar. 

As part of the apprenticeship you will undertake formal training towards a Certificate III in Electrotechnology, combining classroom learning with on-the-job experience.

About you:

• a solid work ethic, be reliable and willing to learn
• Proven experience within an electrical role/apprenticeship
• Hold a current drivers licence
• possess a construction industry white card
• ability to perform manual work
• have a good understanding of hand and power tools
• Flexibility to work some overtime as required
• Working at Heights ticket is advantageous but not essential
