GemLife’s Prospecta is hiring a qualified Electrician with solar and battery installation experience to join a collaborative field team on residential and commercial projects in Pimpama. You’ll work across new builds, luxury resorts, and multiple locations in solar and C&I battery installs, electricals, cabling, security, and monitoring. What matters most is a current QLD Electrical Licence, a valid Driver’s Licence, White Card, strong communication, safety mindset, and a proven record of quality workmanship. Desirable but not essential are CEC Solar Installation Accreditation and Working at Heights. You’ll work across a variety of residential and commercial projects, including new builds, luxury resorts, and solar installations at multiple locations. You’ll join a skilled, supportive team that values quality workmanship, knowledge‑sharing, and mentoring — whether you’re keen to learn or ready to guide an apprentice.

We are looking for someone who enjoys the camaraderie of being part of a team, is motivated to do quality work and get the work completed.

About the Role

This is a hands‑on, in‑field role working in small teams on generally low and easily accessible sites. Your work will include a mix of solar installations, electrical works, security, communications, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Solar and C&I battery installations
• First and second fix electricals on residential and commercial builds
• Communications cabling, servers, and automation systems
• Security and access control installation and fit‑off
• Switchboard upgrades
• Solar system monitoring setup and ongoing maintenance
• Collaborating with builders and owners to deliver compliant solutions
• Adhering to safety standards and best practices
• Delivering excellent customer service and high‑quality workmanship

What We’re Looking For

• Current QLD Electrical Licence
• Current Driver’s Licence
• White Card
• Strong communication skills, work ethic, and attention to detail

Desirable (but not essential):

• CEC Solar Installation Accreditation
• Working at Heights certification
