Job Description

Overall objectives

•Ensure architectural integrity, alignment, and compliance across business, data, and technology domains.

•Act as a governance lead within enterprise architecture forums, driving consistency, traceability, and strategic alignment.

•Support the development and enforcement of architecture standards, principles, and decision frameworks.

•Facilitate collaboration across domain architects to ensure cohesive and integrated enterprise architecture.

•Contribute to the evolution of architecture governance models, tools, and practices.

Role specific responsibilities

•Lead and participate in architecture governance forums to review and approve solution designs.

•Ensure traceability of architecture decisions to enterprise strategies, standards, and business outcomes.

•Collaborate with domain architects to assess solution compliance and identify gaps or risks.

•Maintain architecture repositories, including decision logs, reusable patterns, and reference models.

•Support audits, compliance reviews, and risk assessments related to architecture practices.

•Promote reuse, standardization, and alignment across business, data, and technology domains.

General functional responsibilities

•Contribute to the refinement of enterprise architecture governance frameworks and operating models.

•Align with transformation programs to ensure architecture governance supports agility and innovation.

•Track and report governance metrics, decision outcomes, and compliance checkpoints.

•Mentor architects and analysts on governance practices, tools, and documentation standards.

•Assist in the development of architecture training, onboarding, and awareness programs.

•Support the integration of governance tools with enterprise architecture platforms and repositories.

Qualifications

Core competencies required

•Governance & Standards: Deep understanding of architecture principles, governance frameworks, and compliance processes.

•Domain Expertise: Strong knowledge in one or more domains—business architecture, data & AI, infrastructure & cloud.

•Stakeholder Engagement: Skilled in working with domain architects, business leaders, and delivery teams to ensure alignment.

•Architecture Modeling: Proficient in using modeling tools and techniques (e.g., capability maps, data lineage, infrastructure blueprints).

•Decision Facilitation: Experience in architecture review boards, decision logs, and risk assessments.

•Communication & Influence: Ability to articulate governance value and influence adherence across diverse teams.
