This Area Youth Manager Waitemata role at Hato Hone St John is a full-time on-site position in Auckland reporting to the District Youth Manager. You will mentor and lead Divisional and Assistant Divisional Managers, help deliver the Youth Business Plan and national curriculum aligned programmes, promote the youth programme to grow membership, and support recruitment while organising district and regional youth events and conducting audits. The job calls for proven leadership and relationship skills, comfort working with diverse youth and communities, and excellent communication and time management. Reporting to the District Youth Manager, you will provide mentoring, development and people leadership to the Divisional and Assistant Divisional Managers within the Waitemata area.
A pivotal role in the Youth team, your well-honed organisational skills, and proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships will be critical in supporting the Divisions to deliver on the IBP and Youth Strategy objectives. As an Area Youth Manager, you will be provided with the opportunity to gain self-reward and develop both personally and professionally.
