Responsible to: Operations Supervisor Section: Operations
Key responsibilities
Prepare equipment for testing automotive products based on parameters defined in test software or documentation.
Ensure equipment is in good working order before starting test process.
Load fixtures into the equipment.
Load product onto fixtures and undertake testing as defined in software program or documentation.
Perform routine tests on machinery and equipment, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
Monitor test results, identify anomalies or defects, and take corrective actions as needed.
Record and analyse data generated from tests to evaluate machine performance and product quality.
Perform routine maintenance on testing machines to prevent malfunctions.
Work with engineers to identify persistent problems and suggest improvements.
Required skills and qualifications
Good understanding of mechanical and electrical machinery.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Familiarity with test ting equipment and quality control processes.
Attention to detail when identifying defects or faults in testing.
High level of attention to detail and work accuracy.
Able to work independently and make decisions.
Physical requirements:
Capable of standing for long periods and handling equipment that may require physical exertion.
Qualifications and Experience
A demonstrable background in electronics testing and diagnostics.
Experience in an Operations environment.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
