Fairstead is hiring an Assistant Property Manager for a part-time, 16 hours per week, on-site role in Boaz, AL, to support daily operations at an affordable housing property. The job centers on HUD compliance (4350.3), lease enforcement, REAC and MOR readiness, LIHTC reviews, and maintaining accurate rent collection and posting in Yardi, while coordinating maintenance, move-ins and move-outs, and delivering excellent resident service. Ideal candidates have at least two years in affordable housing leasing or property management, knowledge of the local market, and proficiency with Yardi, EIV, and MS Office, plus strong communication. Fairstead has an exciting opportunity at one of our properties, and we are looking for an Assistant Property Manager to join our team! The Assistant Property Manager assists and supports the planning, implementing, and managing the daily operations of the property. They assist in the management of onsite activities and the overall performance of the property. They perform various duties including administrative, financial, and resident relations.
This is a part time role working a flexible schedule of 16 hours per week.
