Role Summary — Positioned for a CA or semi-qualified CA with contracting/construction industry experience.
Key Responsibilities cover 5 areas:
- Month-End Closing (GL, accruals, reconciliations, trial balance)
- MIS & Financial Reporting (P&L, project cost reports, variance analysis)
- Day-to-Day Operations (AP/AR, subcontractor invoices, procurement coordination)
- ERP & Systems (Oracle Financials, chart of accounts, process improvements)
- Compliance & Audit (VAT, IFRS, external audit support)
Requirements — 4–6 years experience, Oracle ERP mandatory, CA/semi-CA preferred, advanced Excel.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
- Maintain meticulous records, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Support the Finance Manager in developing and implementing financial strategies, including cost-cutting measures and revenue enhancement initiatives.
- Monitor cash flow, provide accurate projections, and ensure optimal liquidity management.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather financial information, ensuring a holistic understanding of the company's financial position.
- Review and reconcile financial statements and accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of audit materials, ensuring a smooth external audit process, and providing support as needed.
- Maintain a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
- Support the operations team with financial insights and guidance, ensuring efficient and effective day-to-day business transactions.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with a preference for CA qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, with industry experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis and reporting, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in using financial software, particularly Oracle, and a willingness to learn new systems.
- Excellent analytical skills, with a proven track record of providing valuable financial insights.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
