Advice for applicants

Put your strongest electrical wholesale or trades background at the top of your resume, and highlight any specific customer‑facing roles where you drove sales and improved operations. If you’ve led or mentored a team, lead with a concrete example that shows how you supported performance and safety on the floor.

When you’re describing your must‑have skills, swap generic phrases for specifics. Show instance(s) where you coached others, improved safety procedures, or helped a branch meet its customer service goals, ideally in collaboration with a manager or senior leader.

In interviews, be ready to talk about safety and compliance in branch procedures and give a concrete example of how you’ve driven a continuous improvement initiative alongside a supervisor. Expect questions about building relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver consistent service.

To stand out, ask a focused question that taps into the role’s opportunities, such as how the branch leverages Rexel’s global network or the KUDO$ program, and whether there are mobility opportunities across the 17 countries involved with Rexel.
