Tips to help you shine in this Beachfront role
Lead your resume with the most relevant floor-based leadership you’ve had in busy hospitality settings, bar, bistro or gaming floors count, especially where you supervised others.
Call out that you hold RSA/RSG and the NT Gaming Machine Licence, and include any details you can about expiry dates or issuing authorities if you have them. This shows you meet the must-haves right away.
Be ready with a concrete example of a time you turned around a hiccup on a shift, how you spotted the issue, who you involved, and what the outcome was. The team wants to know you can act quickly and calmly under pressure.
Prepare a sharp question for the interview, such as how success is measured for an on-floor leader when the Publican isn’t on site, and how the team coordinates across bar, bistro and gaming during peak periods.
